![]() My work leads to the Institute of Geophysics and Meteorology of the University at Cologne. I graduated there as a geophysicist and am currently working on my PhD thesis in the field of space physics. The object of my interest is Titan, the biggest moon of Saturn and second biggest of the solar system. I'm developing a computer simulation of the plasma interaction between Titan and the corotating plasma of Saturn. The plasma I'm talking of is a very thin ionized gas (I'm talking of 1 ion per cm) composed mainly of protons - not the thick plasma they deal with in search for fusion reactors.
